One on One With Alexis: Valentine's Day Love Stories

From Alexis: I am always curious about other people's relationships. Sifting through information to understand how different people cope in long term relationships is like a past time for me. 'Cause Lord knows, I can struggle sometimes.  This Valentine's Day, I had the chance to interview 4 very different couples..

Harold and Joan live in Memphis Tennessee. Apparently there's a large conservative Jewish community there... who knew?!  They met when they were super young and have been together 6 decades and still strong.

They have been together and now have the sweetest baby.  We discuss how they met, what binds them together and their personal struggle in being from different sectors of Palestine and what they experience in Israel.

IRIS AND CARL:

Iris Apfel and Carl were together 67 years. They are one of the most remarkable examples of a loving relationship I have ever seen. For as long as I would see them together, they were constantly holding each other's hands. Both always put the other first and their love was palpable. I used to have dinner with them every other week. I learned so much from them about how to weather a relationship and I'm eternally grateful.

ORREN AND ROBERT:
