November 16th, 2009 Michael Kors

I collaborated with Michael Kors for his Spring 2010 show. The idea was to create a collection that was distinctly futuristic and yet retro at the same time. I looked to Woody Allen's 1973 film 'Sleeper' for inspiration. The film is a perfect example of that aesthetic- it's the perception of what the future might look like through the eyes of someone who is now in the past.

Model: Jacquetta Wheeler

The pieces were created from hand carved clear lucite and include oversized bead collars and smooth stream-lined cuffs.
