Ok… I love a costume.

Here are some shots of the West Indian Day Parade. It started pouring at the end of it so there was a scramble for shelter. Apparently there were also 4 people shot… That’s a typical Brooklyn parade for you.

This was an exciting moment for me. I got to meet the founder of the Guardian Angels, Curtis Sliwa. I was obsessed with them in the late 1970s/early 80s. But they seem to have lost their edge and purpose… Still, he looks great!
