Each season, in my usual schizophrenic way, I get to design 3 collections: Lucite, Elements and Miss Havisham. All three collections are full of inspiration. This Spring was no different. I’m fortunate to be able to work with a talented team that all love creativity and jewelry.

 

In Miss Havisham, we were drawn to a few muses…Debbie Harry, the movie Liquid Sky from 1980, and a little bit of 1970′s modernism.

We used custom cut Chrysoprase, Citrines, and Labradorite doublets which show off the magnificence of the stones’ inclusions and provide a flash of color. These sharp lined stones are suspended to showcase the light reflecting through them, highlighting the hand cut facets.

The result was a modern, light, sculptural line that mixes color and lines to create the appearance of balance.
