The first time I saw his video I laughed so hard I almost pissed in my pants.
Artistically I feel Drew as Chloe Sevigny, both is funny and sheds a magnifying glass at how self involved and ridiculous we all can be, particularly in entertainment and fashion.

I’m obsessed with Drew for his creativity and his sharp wit. Check out this video:

This was an exciting moment for me. I got to meet the founder of the Guardian Angels, Curtis Sliwa. I was obsessed with them in the late 1970s/early 80s. But they seem to have lost their edge and purpose… Still, he looks great!

Here is a double hitter, Kim Kardashian walking out of Intermix on Robertson in L.A. having just purchased this choker and Paris Hilton wearing a Miss H necklace, ring and cuff in St. Tropez.

Someone had an imagination at this restaurant in the Lower East Side. It made my morning and then sank to my stomach in the shape of a hard ball.

At the press junket for “Cowboys + Aliens” Oliva Wilde is sporting our snake Miss H necklace. She is a quiet beauty.

I read on Wikipedia that she is an orphan from Uganda and was adopted by Angelina Jolie before converting to a born again Christian. Weird… right?!

JUST KIDDING!!!

This year for FNO we threw a crazy party. I partnered with the Accessories Director from Vogue, Selby Drummond, who co-designed a bracelet for the event, Lady Fag, who is one of the most original performers in NYC nightlife, Barbie and Lucy Sykes from Rent the Runway.

It felt a bit like the old NY clubs I remember from the mid 80s, with the mix of downtown/uptown and all the drag queens in between.

I’m going to let you in on one of my childhood secrets…

Every Saturday I walk to Atlantic Ave in Brooklyn to Damascus Bakery and treat myself to one pastry for my fat belly. It’s been there since I was a kid and they have the best Arabic pastries EVER! They may look the same at other stores but they’re not.  There’s a lot of crappy Arabic food out there, but this is truly incredible.  Hopefully Damascus Bakery will be around until I’m old.

Iris is one my favorite women in NYC. Her birthday was Monday so this post is a little late, but that’s ok…

We met 6 years ago and she and her husband Carl have become my surrogate parents in New York. I love them both. I’m so amazed by their joy of life and their warmth that they so freely show to each other. They’ve been married for 60+ years and are as affectionate now as if they just met, something I strive towards… Happy Belated Birthday, Iris!
